Alan Thompson travelled to Grimsby for the Grimsby 10k and finished in an excellent 59th position out of over 2300 entrants running a pb of 38 min 33 sec.
A group of Striders travelled to Huncote for the latest Race in the Leicester road running league, Huncote 5. On a fast course and first back for the club was Alan Thompson in 30 min 59 secs clocking an excellent 52nd place.
