The Wymeswold Waddle is a 5 mile out and back race in the beautiful village of Wymeswold. The first two and a half miles is up hill, then turn and roll back down.
The striders turned out in force both participating and spectating and the race produced some excellent results.
First home for the Striders was Alan Thompson in 32:19 in 19th place,
Tam Nicol 48th in 35:14,
Christie Jones 55th in 35:51,
Ben Pickard in 66th 36:20,
Kathy Walsh the first of the Striders female home in 159th 43:03, followed by
Vanessa Walker 179th in 44:39,
Laura Pickard 198th in 46:09,
Steph Barlow 210th in 47:03
A BIG Shout Out for Charlotte Coltman on her first race in a Striders Vest who finished a respectable 259th in 52:44. Well done all.
