The Hose 10 is the inaugural 10 mile race hosted by Stilton Striders Running Club and Hose Village Hall as part of the LRRL.
The race starts and finishes at Hose Village Hall and is a relatively flat one lap route on country roads, through the beautiful Vale of Belvoir. The route will be signed and supported with marshals along the course. There will be two water points at mile 4 and mile 7.
This race is initially only open to the members of clubs that are part of the LRRL. Members of LRRL clubs who do not have a current individual registration with England Athletics must pay the unaffiliated rate. Being part of the LRRL, it will be chip timed. Race numbers are to be collected in the village hall on the day. Please have one member of your club collecting your clubs race numbers.
Due to the length of the course there will be a strict cut off time of 2.5 hours. All participants in the race have to be over 17 years old on the day of the race. For safety reasons earphones and bone conductors are forbidden during the race.
Car parking is located opposite the village hall and will be signposted. Please follow car parking attendants instructions to make sure we maximise the parking capacity of the field. Car park opens from: 8am until 9.20am. Due to limited parking spaces it is very important that runners organise car sharing within their clubs. Car park opens for leavers from: 12pm.
There will be on site toilets and an area marked off for club tents near Hose Village Hall.
