Kit – long sleeve tops now available

We now have a stock of long sleeve tops available, priced at £25.  Photos of these (and the other kit – vests, t-shirts and jackets) will be added to the kit page shortly.

If anyone still owes for new kit (and there are one or two who also still owe for Equinox) – please bring the cash along to a club run early in the New Year.

New Year, New Website…

Hope you all like the new design – let us know if you spot any broken links, missing information or have any ideas for how we can best use the site.

All links have been refreshed, diary and race listings updated for 2015 (with new searchable database) and over time there will be lots of photos added to the site in the gallery section.

New kit now available

New design club kit (vests and t-shirts) are now available, at the introductory price of £15 per item for any orders before 1 January. After that time, the price will be equal to the cost to the club – £20 per item. For those who want to stick with the old (“retro”?) design, we still have a small stock of vests.

Jackets are also now available at £35 each and long sleeve shirts are on the way…

See the “kit” page for more details.

Club run rota

We are committed to ensuring that at each of the regular Melton club road runs there will be an experienced Strider who knows the route running at the rear of the group to ensure that no runner ends up getting left behind. This operates on a rota system so that we know in advance who is doing it each week. Our list of volunteers is growing – please do let us know if and when you can commit so we can add you to the list!

Melton Sports – discount and deliveries

Michael has very generously offered that all Striders members are now entitled to a 10% discount at the newly opened Melton Sports shop in King Street. They stock Ron Hill clothing and accessories, Hilly socks and Asics, New Balance and Saucony shoes – see www.meltonsports.co.uk for more details.
In addition, he will deliver purchases to Striders club runs, so if there is anything you need, give them a call.
