9 Jul 2016 – Gonerby Tough Duathlon
The Gonerby Tuff duathlon was an understatement of a name for a low key first time event organised by Belvoir Triathlon Club. contacting of 5 x 2.25mile lap route, a run, 3 on the Mountain Bike and a final run.
Three Stilton Striders were in action, Clive Kent (1hr 31mins), Andy Nicholls (1hr 47mins) and Wayne Hackett (1hr 40mins, after completing the Whissendine6 road race the previous night).

20 Mar 2016 – Stathern Duathlon
10 Striders made the short trip to Stathern. The sunshine made it an enjoyable day for competitors and supporters alike, even on the dreaded Stathern hill.
In his first duathlon, Jason Barton came 7th, followed by Darren Glover 19th, Simon Bottrill, Clive Kent 28th (another strong result for his first time), Matt Taylor 33rd, Andy Nicholls 45th, Tony Allen 86th, Brian Walkling 87th (on a MTB), John “Houghton” Houghton 89th (as his name appears in the results!), Louise Houghton first lady in 106th. Stilton Strider and Belvoir Triathlon Club representative Wayne Hackett made his first outing of the year at the Dambuster Duathlon, Rutland Water. The event comprising of a 10km run, 26mile bike and a final 5km run in very strong winds. He finished the event in a total combined time of 2hs 36mins. [Wayne]
